For Teenagers
Information you should know...
- Teenagers must complete Driver Education and Driver Training, in accordance with California Law, in order to obtain their California Driver License. DMV Minor Requirement(s) Information
- Driver Education is the reading/study portion of the required training to get a Driver License.
- Driver Training is the Behind-the-Wheel, On-the-Roadway portion of the required training to get a Driver License.
- Teenagers must complete 6-hours of Driver Training during the 6 month period they are required to hold their Learner Permit.
- We offer Online Driver Education.
- Driver Training is conducted on the surface streets, highways and freeways in the Sacramento Area.
- Our Instructors are on the road, every day, 7 days a week.
- All our vehicles are inspected daily.
- All our vehicles are equipped with a dual-braking system.
- All of our lessons include FREE pick-up and drop-off of the student within our Service Area.
Enrollment & Payment Information you should know...
For your convenience you may enroll &/or make payment for services:
- In person, at our office.
- Via telephone call, to our office, using your Debit Card or Credit Card.

Online Driver Education: for Teens (+ Transaction Fee)
Students work at home, at their own pace, via the internet. They have 61 days to complete the program. Upon completion of the course, students receive their Driver Education Certificate (DMV Form DL400C) and are then eligible to take their written exam at the DMV.

2-hour course designed to evaluate driving skills, safety techniques, driver responsibility, driver awareness and common knowlegde of vehicle operations.
Please Note: This course may qualify you for a discount on your Insurance Premiums. Certificates of Completion, issued by A1 Driving School, Inc., may be issued to insurance companies for proof of completion. Please contact your insurance provider for more information.
