DEFENSIVE DRIVING

Our Defensive Driving course is offered to anyone who possesses a valid state issued license or permit.

Defensive Driving (Classroom)

This course is an 8 hour classroom course on understanding the responsibilities and laws set forth by the California Department of Motor Vehicles and the California Vehicle Code. The course is designed to insure that licensed drivers or permittees will continue education on, and reestablish their knowledge of the rules and laws of the road.  There is no certificate required by the California Department of Motor Vehicles, however certificates of completion (issued by A1 Driving School) may be issued to insurance companies for proof of completion. Please contact your insurance provider for details.

Defensive Driving (Behind-the-Wheel)

This course is a 2 hour evaluation of driving skills, safety techniques, responsibility, driver awareness as well as common knowledge of vehicle operations.  There is no certificate required by the California Department of Motor Vehicles, however certificates of completion (issued by A1 Driving School) may be issued to insurance companies for proof of completion.
